Due to its extensive compatibility with many water-based binders, VOK ?- Disper 2012 is the preferred dispersant for resin containing grinding. It can stabilize various pigments, mainly including transparent and opaque organic pigments and carbon black. It can also be used in grinding without resin. Even if there are organic amines, rheological aids, wetting aids and organic cosolvents in the grinding material, its dispersion performance will not be affected. The high molecular weight additive improves color strength, transparency, luster and storage stability through steric stabilization mechanism. It has no negative effect on the stability of pH sensitive systems, so it is particularly recommended for formulations using cationic binders. In addition, VOK ?- Disper 2012 is also suitable for water-based road marking paint.

Recommended dosage

The amount of additives (purchase form) is based on:

Inorganic pigment: 5-30%

Titanium dioxide: 4-10%

Organic pigment: 50-100%

Carbon black: 100-230%

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

In order to obtain good performance, additives must be added to the abrasive. For grinding with resin, premix the resin and water, and then slowly add additives in the stirring state. If the water-soluble base material needs to be neutralized, the organic amine shall be ?- Dispatch joined before 2012. For resin free grinding, it is only necessary to premix water and additives. In any case, the pigment can only be added after the auxiliaries are evenly dispersed.
