German technical background VOK ?- Disper 1018 Wetting Dispersant

The solvent free wetting dispersant for thermoplastic can disperse and stabilize the organic pigment in the color masterbatch used for casting film and injection molding parts. It does not migrate to the surface.

Features and advantages: VOK ?- Disper 1018 is a highly functional polymer additive. It is well specially developed for dispersion in color masterbatch production process with good throughput combined.

The additive has a low melting point around 55-60 ℃, so it can effectively wet the polymer carrier before the pigment melts. It is absorbed to the surface of the pigment, so as to produce stable steric hindrance to promote the dispersion of the agglomerate and prevent re condensation. VOK ?- Disper 1018 is also suitable for composite siliceous fillers (talc, wollastonite, mica) in PA, PET and PBT.

Recommended use: VOK ?- Disper 1018 is recommended as a solid dispersion in PP, PE, PS, PA, ABS, PET and PBT.

Recommended dosage:

The dosage of additives (e.g.) is based on solids:

Inorganic pigment: 5-15%

Titanium dioxide: 5-15%

Organic pigment: 25-40%

Carbon black: 5-15%

Foaming agent: 5%

Filler (talc, wollastonite, mica): 5%

Adding method and processing guidance: The additive can be pre mixed with solid or polymer carrier. Do not exceed the temperature of 60 ℃.
