Air caliper disc brake is also called horizontal air brake or air disc, it can be divided into disc brake and shaft brake. This brake also can be divided into normally releasing (normally brake is released; when supplying air pressure, two ends of linings clamp braking disc for braking) and normally braking (normally two ends of linings clamped braking disc, brake is braked; when supplying air pressure, brake is releasing) types.

There are six models of it: DBH-103N, DBH-104N, DBH-105N, DBH-203N, DBH-204N, DBH-205N.The DBH-103N, DBH-104N, DBH-105N three models air caliper disc brake is used for braking disc thickness 10mm plate. And DBH-203N, DBH-204N, DBH-205N three models pneumatic caliper disc brakes are suitable for 20mm braking disc thickness plate. Although they used for different thickness plate, while they produce braking force is the same for same diameter braking plate. 

These spring applied air brake application is the same with air engaged air brake. They are widely applied in working machinery, construction machinery, steel rolling machinery, stretch-wire machinery, stranding machinery, winding machinery, gantry crane, paper making machinery, ship, trimming shears machinery, unwind machinery, orientation machinery, tension controller and etc. In normal, this brake is brake disc, after supplying air pressure, brake is release.
