Waterproof Mastic, resist abrasion, alkalization for sport courts JOTEENES PAT

JOTEENES ^Ò  PAT is the two component modified Polymer Portland cement mortar used for filling cracks and leveling uneven places of concrete surface. It is used as a primer to level the concrete surface of tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court and another sport courts before painting.

Tools:

Plasterer’s hawk and trowel, emery paper.

• The practiced surface should be clear, dry and free from oil and grease to get the best substrate adhesion. Dust and dirt should be clean by wet cloth. Oil and grease should be removed with suitable solvent or dilute detergent. Jet water can be used after that for cleaning.
• For new concrete, it demands the waiting time of at least 28 days to solidify completely before practicing (in normal conditions). The concrete surface should be wetted before in case it dried.
• Firstly, add water max. 30% by the weight of mixture to the part B, then stir well, pour the part A slowly into the part B in the ratio of 4 part A and 1 part B. Mix them together thoroughly with agitator until getting available mixture. It should not be stirred in high speed and more than 10 minutes to avoid foamed. It should be coated from 1 to 2 thin layers depending on surface conditions. The interval between twice practicing is minimum 8 hours. The surface is leveled again with emery-paper.   
• The available A & B mixture must be used within the pot life (1 hour at 23⁰C).

•  Tools have to be clean. It should be practiced on sunny day.
•  The thickness of mastic coats should be less than 3 mm.
• Mastic:
  Painting has to be practiced only 24 hours after recoating.
• The available A & B mixture must be used within the pot life (1 hour at 23⁰C).
• Expiry period: 3 months
• Note: Drying time depends on temperature, humidity and ventilation of application space.
• High temperature and good ventilation help the drying time to be more quickly.
