Excellent Epoxy Paint for Steel surfaces of Food Safety & concrete industrial floor, heat resistant, JIS Standard JONA EPO

JONA^®EPO is the two-component solvent based epoxy finish.

It is used for the steel surfaces of tanks, holds which have the demand of food safety or of an epoxy coating

system.

It is used for concrete floor surfaces of house, laboratory, workshop, places which are frequently walked on.

JONA^®EPO has been certified as conforming to the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS K 5659:2008.

• Good adhesion on metal and concrete surfaces.
• Durability and fast color film.
• Standing impact, abrasion and the influences of chemical substances well.
• Resistance to fungus and alga.
• Heat-resistant up to 100⁰C (un-continuous).

Tools:

Airless spray: the fluid tip diameter is from 0.43mm to 0.65mm, min output fluid pressure is 15MPa (150kp/cm²). The angle of spray from 40⁰to 65⁰.

Conventional spray.

For inconsiderable surfaces: brush can be used, care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness.

Clean tools after using.

• The practiced surface should be clean, dry and free oil, grease and chalking. 
• Firstly, stir well the base (part A) with an agitator, then pour the hardener (part B) slowly into the stirred base (part A), and mix them (part A with part B) together thoroughly in the ratio of 4 to 1. Thinner should be only used in the case of exceptional circumstances (max. 3% by the weight of A & B mixture).
• The available A & B mixture must be used within the pot life (7 hours at 23⁰C).

• The practiced surface temperature is more than 10⁰C (It’s at least 5⁰C above the dew point) and the practiced space humidity is equal or less than 85%.
• Drying time depends on temperature, humidity and ventilation of application space. High temperature and good ventilation help the drying time to be more quickly.
