Overview

ABB DSQC313 is a digital input/output module specially designed for industrial robot control systems, belonging to the peripheral equipment of ABB's robot IRC5 controller series. It is mainly responsible for digital signal interaction between industrial robots and external equipment, capable of accurately receiving digital input signals from sensors, buttons, and other devices, while reliably outputting control signals to actuators, indicator lights, and other devices. It is a key component for realizing collaborative work between robots and peripheral equipment, providing solid signal transmission guarantee for the efficient and stable operation of industrial robot automated production lines.

• Input/Output Channels: Equipped with 16 digital input channels and 16 digital output channels, the number of input and output channels is balanced, which can meet the signal interaction needs in most industrial robot scenarios. The input channels can receive standard DC 24V digital signals with a short response time, usually no more than 1ms, ensuring that the state changes of external equipment can be quickly captured; the output channels can provide DC 24V driving voltage, with each output channel current up to 0.5A and total output current not exceeding 8A, which can stably drive small relays, solenoid valves, and other actuators.

The allowable fluctuation range of the power supply voltage is DC 20.4V - 28.8V, adapting to slight fluctuations of power supply voltage in industrial sites. The power consumption is low, usually not exceeding 5W during normal operation, helping to reduce the overall energy consumption of the system.

• Electrical Isolation: Electrical isolation design is adopted between input channels and output channels, and between each channel and the internal circuit of the module, with an isolation voltage of 2500V AC. This effectively avoids electrical interference between different channels and between the module and external equipment, ensuring the accuracy of signal transmission and the stability of the module's work, especially suitable for industrial sites with complex electromagnetic environments.

• Environmental Adaptability: The operating temperature range is 0℃ - 60℃, which can work stably in the common temperature environment of industrial production workshops. The relative humidity is 5% - 95% (non-condensing), which can adapt to humid working environments without being affected by humidity changes. At the same time, it has a certain anti-vibration ability, meeting the IEC 60068-2-6 standard, and can resist the vibration impact generated when the robot is working.

• Physical Specifications: Adopting a compact modular design, the size is approximately 100mm×80mm×60mm, and the weight is about 0.8kg. It occupies a small space, making it easy to install inside the robot control cabinet or on the equipment mounting frame around it.
