Oriented Silicon steel
I. Products
Baosteel B27R080 is the world's first 0.27mm thick scored orientated silicon steel top grade, representing the world's highest level of silicon steel manufacturing technology of the same specification, known as the ‘jewel in the crown of steel products’. The core breakthroughs are:
iron loss index (P1.7/50) ≤ 0.80W/kg, 8% lower than the previous generation of grades, and better magnetic susceptibility (B800>1.90T), significantly improving energy efficiency.
Adopting Baosteel's own innovative composition system and process route, the company has overcome the technical problem of ultra-low iron loss in thick specification (0.27mm), which has filled the international blank.
Through the Three Gorges Project, West-to-East Power Transmission and other major national projects, the technology has reached the international leading level.
II. Main uses
B27R080 is specialised in the manufacture of core iron for high-end power equipment, especially for energy-efficient transformers and new energy storage systems:
Ultra-high voltage/extra-high voltage transformers: to meet the needs of 1000kV AC and ±400kV DC projects (e.g. State Grid Project), supporting low-loss and high-stability operation of the power grid.
Green energy equipment: applied to the world's first 300MW compressed air energy storage power station (‘Super Charger’) and other demonstration projects, helping renewable energy to be connected to the grid.
Energy-efficient equipment: Reducing transformer no-load loss by 6%-8%, extending service life, and meeting the stringent energy-efficiency standards for power equipment under the ‘dual-carbon’ policy.
III. Storage and maintenance
1,Moisture and rust prevention: The storage environment should be kept dry (relative humidity ≤ 60%), avoiding contact with acid, alkali and other corrosive substances. If stored for a long time, it is recommended to use anti-rust oil or vacuum packaging to protect the surface coating.
2,Physical protection: Avoid mechanical collision or heavy pressure to prevent deformation of steel coils or coating damage. Use special pallets when stacking and control the stacking height to reduce the bottom load.3,33333333332123123123546974124
3,Temperature control: Ideal storage temperature is between 10°C and 30°C to avoid high temperature environment that may cause coating aging or magnetic property degradation.
4,Pre-processing: If cutting or stamping is required, make sure the equipment is clean to avoid scratching the surface with impurities; clean up debris in time after processing to prevent oxidation or degradation of insulating properties.
IV. Payment modalities
Only support T/T payment, the implementation of the FOB standard, the first to determine the variety and grade of silicon steel, sign the contract prepayment of 40%, in the delivery period the goods ready to send to the designated domestic port (such as Tianjin Port), after settlement of the final payment, the goods loaded on the ship.
