Product features and advantages

The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance. Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can obtain high gloss and improve color strength, transparency and storage stability. Even in low dosage, VOK ?- Disper 193 can also be used to produce pigment concentrate with good fluidity and high pigment content.

Recommended use

VOK ?- Disper 193 is particularly recommended for the production of resin based pigment concentrates used in water-based intaglio, flexographic and screen printing inks. Due to the low amount of additives required, it is conducive to saving costs and producing pigment concentrate with good fluidity and high pigment content. The additive can also reduce the common foaming tendency when using abrasive resin, and improve the acceptability of color paste. In terms of defoamers used in abrasives, VOK ?- DF 012 and VOK ?- DF 017 (1:1) has been proved to be very effective when used in combination (0.6% of auxiliary dosage is based on the general formula).

Recommended dosage

Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:

Titanium dioxide: 1-3%

Organic pigment: 4-6%

Carbon black: 4-6%

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

In order to obtain good performance, the additive must be slowly added (in the stirring state) to the grinding resin or shear stable dispersion. Pigments can only be added after the auxiliaries are evenly dispersed.
