QDF-3 normal braking caliper disc brake for paper making machine

QDF is also a kind of normal braking horizontal caliper disc brake. It is driven by air pressure. There are two models of it: QDF-2, QDF-3. They can produce high braking force after inputting air source. 

This horizontal type air caliper disc brake torque is nearly twice of vertical type air caliper disc brake. Equipped with elastic springs to make sure braking balance, braking disc thickness is 12.7mm. Resistant to water, oil and dust.

QDF brake max air volume is 0.4cm³, braking force can be reached to 4200N.m with steel disk diameter 711mm. And its max clamp force is 12700N. Following is the detail technical data of this brake for your reference:

There are two models of this caliper disc brake: QDF-2, QDF-3. Their braking pads distance both 12.7mm, that is to say, QDF-2, QDF-3 they are suitable for friction disk thickness is 12.7mm. QDF-2 is equiped with 2# air cylinder head, and QDF-3 is equiped with 3# air cylinder head. The cylinder head different, QDF-2 air chamber volume is 0.2cm³, QDF-3 air chamber volume is 0.4cm³,  QDF-3 air volume is twice of QDF-2, so QDF-3 produces braking force is nearly twice of QDF-2.
