For the standard safety chuck, its holding mouth is square size and can't exchanged. There is another kind of safety chuck with VT insert, there are VT1, VT2, VT3 and VT4 four models of replaceable holding mouth safety chuck.

Safety chuck is widely used in roller industrials. For the manual flange and pillow safety chuck, except standard square size model, there is a special VT insert safety chuck. It is with four kinds of customized holding mouths: VT1 square insert, VT2 45° square insert, VT6 triangle insert and VT7 round insert. VT insert safety chuck is suitable for flange and pillow mounted.

For this exchangeable insert safety chuck, shaft holding mouth is interchangeable. The loading shaft and shaft holding mouth friction during working, after long time usage, holding mouth will be abrasion. In this case, just replace VT insert and keep whole structure is ok. This type of safety chuck is economic and can save energy for user.
