how to choose material:

1.stainless steel :

providing good corrosion resistance and strength comparable to galvanized carbon steel grades.

 2.galvanized steel:

Zinc coated carbon steel offers some corrosion resistance. It remains ductile over long periods of working. Usually higher break strengths than stainless steels.

Applications:

1x7 Strand — Non-Flexible

Small diameters of this configuration are used as fishing leaders and line. Larger diameters are used for guy wire and messenger strand applications.

1x19 Strand — Non-Flexible

Typically used for push-pull and guying applications. Also used for standing rigging on sailboats.

7x7 Aircraft Grade Cable — Flexible

For use where extreme flexibility is not necessary. Used in aircraft and automotive controls. Performs well in a wide range of mechanical applications.

7x19 Aircraft Grade Cable — Very Flexible

Used in aircraft controls, running rigging on sailboats, strength training equipment, and garage doors. Used when flexibility and fatigue resistance are essential.

1. How do you design a  hot dipped galvanized steel wire rope ?

Of course ,we have to know your application firstly and a number of  factors have to be considered, such as work load, safety  abrasion, environment ,cycle life, flexibility, cost, When we design the hot dipped galvanized steel wire rope .

2. what’s the safety factor of your product?

General ,use a 5 to 1 or 3 to 1 safety factor when we design it, example :breaking load is (1000N) 100kg ,safety factor is   5:1 (200N) Breaking strength should never be considered the rope's working load. 

3.  I would get a flexible cable assembly ,how do I choose?

In same diameter of steel wire cable ,the 7X19 construction is more flexible than the 7X7 construction.

Example:1/16’’7X19 steel wire rope more flexible than 1/16’’7X7 .

4.  Which material should I choose?

Stainless steel cable is more corrosion ,but it is expensive than galvanized steel cable and has a slightly less tensile strength. If it is use for general industry ,galvanized steel is ok, if it is use for marine environment ,I recommend in stainless steel wire cable . depend on you application.

5.  What’s the lead time of my order?
