Steel wire cable （guy wire，stay wire） is a steel product made of multiple steel wires twisted together after galvanizing. It is mainly used in load-bearing, cable, reinforcing core and other scenes. Steel wire cable has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high strength and good durability. Its main characteristics and applications are as follows:

?Corrosion resistance: The zinc coating can effectively resist oxidation and acid rain corrosion

Mechanical properties

1. Strength grade（customized）: According to tensile strength, Steel wire cable is divided into five levels: 1270MPa, 1370MPa, 1470MPa, 1570MPa, and 1670MPa

2. Twisting standard（customized）: Twist length ≤ 14 times the diameter, and other multiples of twist length should be indicated in contract.The outer layer is twisted to left, and the adjacent inner layer is twisted in opposite direction .

3. Breaking force: It can be measured by method to measure breaking force of entire Steel wire cable; by measuring breaking force of single wire, breaking force of steel strand is calculated.

Application field Power communication: used for overhead ground wires and cables, the zinc coating is determined according to environment

Other fields: mining equipment traction, etc.

4.Zinc coating（customized）: divided into three levels A, B, and C, with increasing zinc layer thickness

5. Joint requirements（customized）: 1×3 structure prohibits joints; other structural joints need to be welded and the spacing is ≥50m, and anti-corrosion treatment is performed

6. Transportation and use: Although Steel wire cables have certain corrosion resistance, they may still be affected in a long-term humid environment. Therefore, during use and storage, effective moisture-proof measures should be taken, such as using dry warehouses for storage to avoid direct contact with water; avoid pressure Steel wire cables may be deformed or damaged when subjected to excessive pressure, which will affect their use effect. Therefore, during transportation, storage and construction, care should be taken to avoid  steel wire strands being compressed by heavy objects or improperly handled; Surface protection surface zinc coating of Steel wire cables is the key to its anti-corrosion. During use, sharp tools should be avoided from scratching or scraping surface of steel wire strands to avoid damaging zinc coating and reducing its corrosion resistance.
