Product Description
Silicon carbide SIC ceramic foam filter for metal foundry
Ceramic foam filter is mainly used for filtration of aluminium and aluminium alloys in foundries and cast houses. With their excellent thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance from molten aluminum, they can
effectively eliminate inclusions, reduce trapped gas and provide laminar flow, and then the filtered metal is significantly cleaner. Cleaner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects
Application:
1. Silicon Carbide Ceramic Foam Filter is applied to purge and filter solution of ductile iron casting, grey iron and other iron casting.
2. Zirconia Ceramic Foam Filter is applied to purge and filter solution of steel high temperature metal such as steel alloy stainless steel etc.
3. Magnesia Ceramic Foam Filter is applied to purge and filter solution of magnesium and magnesium alloy.
4. Alumina Ceramic Foam Filter is applied to purge and filter solution of aluminium and aluminium alloys.
