MQ-2 sensor profile:
The gas sensing material used in the MQ-2 gas sensor is two tin oide (SnO2), which has a lower conductivity in clean air. The electrical conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of combustible gas in the air when the sensor is in the presence of combustible gas. A simple circuit is used to convert the change of electrical conductivity to the output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.

The sensitivity of MQ-2 gas sensor to LPG, propane and hydrogen is high, and the detection of natural gas and other combustible vapors is also very good. This kind of sensor can detect many kinds of combustible gas, it is a kind of low cost sensor which is suitable for many kinds of applications.

The gas leakage monitoring device can be used in the household and the factory, which is suitable for the detection of the liquefied gas, the methane, the methane, the smoke and the like;
Module features:
1, the use of high quality dual panel design, with the power of the signal and TTL signal output;
2, with DO switching signal (TTL) output and AO analog signal output;
3, TTL output valid signal is low. When the output is low, the signal light can be directly connected with the single chip microcomputer or relay module.

Eplanatory note:Please preheat before using 20S or so
Input voltage: DC5V power (current): 150mA
DO output: TTL digital volume 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
AO output: 0.1-0.3V (relatively non polluting), the maimum concentration of about 4V
Special reminder:Sensor is energized and need about preheating of the 20s, the measured data is stable, the sensor heating belongs to the normal phenomenon, because the internal electric heating wire, if hot is not normal.
