2. EMC Testing Items: Conducted Interference, Radiated Interference, Electrostatic Discharge Immunity, Radiated Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Field Immunity, Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) Burst Immunity, Surge (Surge) Immunity, Conducted Interference Induced by Radio Frequency Fields, Power Frequency Magnetic Field Immunity, Voltage Sags, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations Immunity, Harmonic Current, Voltage Fluctuation, and Flicker.

RoHS 2.0 is actually a revised version of the RoHS Directive, commonly known as RoHS 2.0. The new RoHS is Directive 2011/65/EU and is part of the CE certification. Products entering Europe directly require RoHS 2.0 certification (CE-RoHS certification). The new RoHS includes RoHS testing and RoHS certification (RoHS certificate + RoHS test report). RoHS 2.0 and the ten RoHS items are the same; 2.0 represents the ten RoHS items. So what are the ten items?
1. Lead (Pb). Examples of its use include: solder, glass, and PVC stabilizers.
2. Cadmium (Cd). Examples of its use include: switches, springs, connectors, housings and PCBs, contacts, and batteries.
3. Mercury (Hg). Examples of its use include: thermostats, sensors, switches and relays, and light bulbs.
4. Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+). Examples of its use include: metal-attached corrosion coatings.
5. Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs). Examples of its use include: flame retardants, PCBs, connectors, and plastic housings.
6. Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). Examples of its use include: flame retardants, PCBs, connectors, and plastic housings.
7. Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP). Used as a plasticizer in PVC and a substitute for DBP. It can also be used as a plasticizer in cellulose resins, vinyl resins, and chloroprene rubber.
8. 2-Ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) is primarily used as a plasticizer in PVC, which is used as an insulator in electrical and electronic equipment, such as cables and wires. Smaller amounts of DEHP are used in other non-polymer applications, such as ceramics in electronic products or electrolytes in capacitors.
9. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) is primarily used in combination with other plasticizers in PVC components such as cables, sockets, pipes, and shock absorbers. It is also used in some non-polymers such as paints, adhesives, sealants, and printing inks.
10. Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) is primarily used as a plasticizer in PVC flooring. It may be present in synthetic leather, textile coatings, PVC materials, printing inks, sealants, and adhesives in electrical and electronic equipment.
The content of the four hazardous substances in the above homogeneous substances cannot exceed the limit of 0.1%. To accommodate the need for a certain grace period for businesses, the directive also stipulates a corresponding transition period. Currently, this is determined based on customer needs and is not mandatory.
RoHS Test Report/Certification Process for Walkie-Talkies
1. Confirm test items, fees, and turnaround time;
2. Complete the test application form (provided by our company; a digital copy is sufficient);
3. Arrange samples (samples to be tested will be shipped via courier);
4. Arrange testing upon receipt of samples (completed by the testing and reporting departments of the testing laboratory);
5. Confirm draft report (a draft report will be issued for customer review after the test report is completed);
6. Issue the final report (after the customer confirms the information is correct, we will notify customer service to issue the final report);
7. Ship the report.
