ULN2001, ULN2002, ULN2003, and ULN 2004 are high-voltage, high current Darlington arrays, each containing 7 open collector Darlington pairs and ordinary emitters. Each channel has a rated power of 500 mA and can withstand a peak current of 600 mA. The suppression diode is used for inductive load driving, with the input fixed on the opposite side of the output to simplify the board layout.

Version interface to all universal logical families: ULN2001 (Universal, DTL, TTL, PMOS, CMOS); ULN2002 (14-25 V PMOS); ULN2003 (5 V TTL, CMOS); ULN2004 (6-15 V CMOS, PMOS).

These multifunctional devices can be used to drive a wide range of loads, including solenoids, relay DC motors, LED display incandescent lights, thermal print heads, and high-power buffers.

ULN2001A/2002A/2003A and 2004A are packaged in 16 pin plastic DIP with a copper lead frame to reduce thermal resistance. They can also be found in small outline packages (SO-16), such as ULN2001D1/2002D1/2003D1/2004D1.
