DAC088S085 is a multifunctional, universal, octal, 8-bit voltage output, digital to analog converter (DAC) that can supply power from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, consuming 1.95 mW at 3V and 4.85 mW at 5V. DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16 pin WQFN package and a 16 pin TSSOP package. The WQFN software package makes DAC088S085 the smallest octal DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows for output oscillation from track to track, and the three wire serial interface operates at a clock rate of up to 40 MHz throughout the entire power supply voltage range. Within the power supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 3.6 V, competing devices are limited to a 25MHz clock rate. Serial interface and standard SPI ?、 QSPI, microwire, and DSP interfaces are compatible. DAC088S085 also provides daisy chain operation, which allows for an unlimited number of devices to be updated simultaneously using a serial interface.
