DAC088S085 is a multifunctional, universal, eight in, 8-bit voltage output, digital to analog converter (DAC) that can be powered from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, consuming 1.95 mW at 3V and 4.85 mW at 5V. DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16 pin WQFN package and a 16 pin TSSOP package. The WQFN package makes DAC088S085 the smallest octal DAC in its class.

The on-chip output amplifier allows rail to rail output, and the three wire serial interface operates at a clock frequency of up to 40 MHz throughout the entire power supply voltage range. In the power supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 3.6 V, the clock frequency of competing devices is limited to 25 MHz. Serial interface and standard SPI ?、 QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP interfaces are compatible. DAC0088S085 also provides daisy chain operation, where an unlimited number of devices can be updated simultaneously using a single serial interface.
