German technical background VOK?-AP 8466 wax dispersion
VOK?-AP 8466 is an aromatic-free (HAPS-free) wax dispersion for solventborne primers containing effect pigments. This additive enhances the orientation of the effect pigment and enhances the isochromatic effect at the angle. This additive avoids cloud lumps and minimizes short-wave defects (mica, vortexes of Bernard), thus improving the flow and leveling of the varnish.
This additive improves the stability of the coating in containers and circulation pipes.
Chemical composition: ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer wax
Solvents: Butyl acetate and n-butanol
Dosage of additives: 40-70 % of the amount of solid resin
