DYXL-300 overhead line grounding fault tester is composed of host, detection clamp, test line, grounding pin, insulating rod and accessories. Wireless communication is adopted between host and detection clamp. The host adopts a 7-inch color screen, with clear fault direction and test results at a glance. The host has voice broadcast function, which prompts the direction of line fault, making field operation easier. The innovative detection clamp integrates signal transmission and acquisition. With a clamp structure, it is small in size, light in weight, and easy to mount. Once mounted, it can complete line fault finding. The operation is simple and fast, which greatly reduces the work intensity of the test and improves the work efficiency. The detection clamp is equipped with a non-contact electroscope, which can check whether the cable is live and give an audible and visual alarm to ensure the safety of operators and equipment. The instrument also has the Bluetooth communication function. After downloading the APP, you can test on your mobile phone, view the test results, and view the history.

DYXL-300 overhead line grounding fault tester can locate the grounding fault of multiple lines. After the overhead line is shut down, it is tested section by section from one end of the line. The detection clamp applies low-frequency high-voltage signals to the line and detects the current on the left and right sides. By analyzing the pulse current and impedance on the left and right sides, the direction of the ground fault point (yellow direction or red direction) is displayed on the host. The detection clamp has corresponding yellow end and red end, which are tested section by section along the direction indicated by the fault point. Before the fault point, the test results show that the fault point is behind it, and after the fault point, the test results show that the fault point is in front of it, so as to approach the fault point section by section and determine the fault position.

2、 Functional features

1. The innovative detection clamp integrates signal transmission and acquisition. With the clamp structure, it is easy to hook up. The line fault test can be completed with one hook up. There is no need to operate the output signal and acquisition signal in two places, nor to disconnect the PT. The test is convenient and fast, which reduces the number of operators and improves the work efficiency.

2. The detection clamp is equipped with a non-contact electroscope. If the tested line is electrified, it will give a light alarm. At the same time, the host will broadcast voice prompts to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.

3. It is applicable to the distribution network of small current grounding system to detect various hidden faults such as single-phase metallic grounding, arc grounding, transit resistance grounding, porcelain bottle breakdown, lightning arrester breakdown of overhead lines.

4. It is especially suitable for fault lines with cable branches.
