Safety springs applied air shaft brake for automatic machinery
HABB is a kind of safety springs applied air shaft brake, it is used to brake the driving shaft. Bore diameter 25mm-75mm are available as its models. Its cylinder can be moved forward and backward during working. When the air is intercepted, cylinder forward to piston frame position, after inletting air source, brake release and cylinder back to the installation frame direction. So there is a little point should be pay attention for brake installation.
There are two kinds of installation modes for this sudden brake as above shown:
1. Brake fixed on the intallation table or plate
2. Brake fixed via torque lock rod or torque pin bracket
As usually, most of customer will choose the first one installation mode, and we also suggestion use that. Because it is convenient and safe. For this kind of intallation, it should be add a gasket between installation plate and brake. So there is an enough distance for cylinder back.
