Product Description
Mechanical joint tooth brake CBM
Mechanical joint tooth brake CBM is also a type of spring applied air release brake. As usually, it is used in mechanical arm, robot, joint for fixing and stopping.
Normally, braking springs compressed, both ends of piston end tooth and hollow shaft tube end tooth tightly, brake braked. After supplying air pressure, piston moves back to compress braking springs, piston end tooth and hollow shaft tube end tooth are separated, brake released. After exhausting air pressure, piston end tooth and hollow shaft tube end tooth compressed again by braking springs, brake braked again.
CBM model brake only used in low speed working situation. Tooth and tooth connect, can transmit high torque.
