High-voltage Passive Power Filter Filterng Device For Harmonic Control

Product Overview: 

     RT-TAL high-voltage passive power filter mainly consists of filter capacitor, filter reactor and other components, which are connected with harmonic source load in parallel in the circuit. At a certain frequency, the filter forms a channel with relatively low impedance to eliminate the harmonics by absorbing a large amount of harmonic currency. At the same time, at the fundamental wave frequency, it provides capatitive reactive power as compensation. The filter is particularly suitable for the load with relatively stable work conditions, such as electrolysis, ferrosilicon furnace, etc. For the fast changing
loads, such as rolling mills and hoisters, the device may combine with TCR or MCR to form a SVC.

Main Technical Characteristics:

- Complete protection functions, having equipped with the capacitor bank microcomputer protection unit: including the protection functions for overcurrent, short-circuit, overvoltage, low voltage, phase difference and neutral point unbalanced current (double star wiring);
- Equipped with a discharge coil, the filter is able to reduce the residual voltage at both ends of the capacitor below 50Vwithin 5s after the capacitor exits from the power grid;
- Designed by specialized simulation software, the filter is able to avoid harmonic amplification and syntony with the system; the harmonic filtering rate can reach 60-80%;
-The filter is designed according to the best scheme after the computer simulation calculation based on the actual measured data of the system, in order to ensure the highest cost performance;
- Each branch consists of a vacuum switch, a filter capacitor, a filter reactor, a discharge coil, and a lightning arrester. 
- It is equipped with a dedicated controller for the filtering device to switch;
- There is complete monitoring, control, display and protection functions;
- While filtering the harmonics, the filter provides the fundamental wave reactive power that the system needs, compensates the inductive reactive power, and improves the power factor of the system.
