WORKING PRINCIPLE                                                                         

Flocking is defined as the application of fine particles to adhesive coated surfaces. Nowadays, this is usually done by the application of a high-voltage electric field. In a flocking machine the "flock" is given a negative charge whilst the substrate is earthed. Flock material flies vertically onto the substrate attaching to previously applied glue.

A number of different substrates can be flocked including: textiles, fabric, woven fabric, paper, PVC, sponge, toys, automotive plastic.

DIFFERENT BETWEEN ELECTROSTATIC FLOCKING & CUSTOM FLOCKING

Electrostatic flocking:

• Flocking by electrostatic charges
• Fiber is insert and ranked on the workpiece surface vertically in same direction
• Good and soft hand touch feeling

Custom Flocking

• Flocking by fiber's gravity force
• Fiber is ranked on the workpiece surface out of order
• Not as soft hand touch feeling

HOW DO IT WORKS                                                                            

Step 01: Connect the power cable, grounding line etc

Step 02: Grounding and adjust the HV and current knob to be the highest position

Step 03: Put the nylon fiber on the top of the screen in the flocking box

Step 04: Glue coating on workpiece

Step 05: Put the glued workpiece under the flocking box

Step 06: Power on

Step 07: Shut off the power

Step 08: Take out of the workpice and finish the flocking job
