ZD 124 D.C. traction motor used in locomotive bogie
Application:
ZD124 D.C. Traction Motor is mounted on the locomotive bogie through holdingaxis semirigid suspension method. Frame is welded fabrication and hugging bearing. Armature is H class insulation, there are holes for mounting bearing temperature sensors on commutator end and driving end bearing covers. It is improved type of ZD109B. It uses armature core, Main pole coil and commutating pole coil of ZD109. This type motor is mainly used in Dongfeng D5 diesel locomotive and Dongfeng 7G diesel locomotive.
