All of the Sentek’s SD388 series detectors meet the requirements of UL268 and EN54-7/5 for use in fire alarm signaling systems. They are intended for use in 2-wire/4-wire Class A or B supervised zone circuits. The SD388 series detectors are subject to panel compatibility limits and compliance with corresponding NFPA 72 standards, local codes, and ordinances.
The SD388 series include 2-wire and 4-wire detectors, which provide fast and reliable response for photoelectric smoke detection. While the smoke and heat detection circuits operate independently, their outputs being "OR' connected.
