1. General Introduction    

The impregnation technology is a right solution to leakage problem of castings. The vacuum impregnation equipment pressurizes the sealant to enter the porosities of castings, and then cures them. The castings are sealed, and qualified to contain liquids or gas. The impregnation technology for castings are widely used at military, automobile, ships, and other relevant fields. The vacuum impregnation equipment is the most ideal equipment for solving leakage problem. 

The equipment is mainly used for leakage repair of castings, sealing of porous powder metal products after sintering, improvement of insulation property of electrical components, and pre-treatment before galvanizing and plating.  

2. Impregnation Process 

2.1 impregnation process: 

impregnation   tank —centrifugal drying—wash tankⅠ——wash tank Ⅱ——hot water curing tank

2.2 Detailed working procedure:

preparation: place the clean components into the basket; 

2.2.1 impregnation tank 

The hoist lifts the basket into the impregnation tank.--- The impregnation tank cover is closed and locked tight.---Vacuum suction to -0.099Mpa, and maintain the pressure for 5mins.---Supply sealant liquid into the impregnating tank, and maintain this step for 5mins. ( the level of the sealant liquid is 30-40mm above the top end of the workpieces in the tank.) ---Resume normal pressure.---Pressurize and impregnate the workpieces under 0.4Mpa pressure, and maintain this step for 5mins. --- Return the excess sealant liquid back to the sealant storage tank. ---Resume normal pressure. –Open the impregnating tank cover. 

2.2.2 centrifugal dryer

The hoist lifts the basket out of the impregnating tank and into the centrifugal dryer for the purpose of removing the sealant adhering to the surface of the workpieces. ( clockwise and anticlockwise rotation for 3 mins, and then open the tank cover.)  

2.2.3 wash tankⅠ

The hoist lifts the basket out of the centrifugal dryer and into the wash tank I for cold water washing. ( pneumatic 

mixing; the workpieces are lifted in and out of the wash tank I for several times.)  

2.2.4 wash tank Ⅱ

The hoist lifts the basket out of the wash tank I and into the wash tank II. ( pneumatic mixing; the workpieces are

 lifted in and out of the wash tank II for several times.)  

2.2.5 hot water cure tank 

The hoist lifts the basket out of the wash tank II and into the hot water cure tank. The workpieces are cured in the

 hot water at a temperature of 90℃ for 15mins.  

3. Configuration

3.4 centrifugal swing dryer, 1 piece 

3.5 wash tank, 1 piece (2 grades)

3.9 basket, 8 pieces  

3.10 control cabinet, 1 set

Functions: digital temperature indicator indicating heating and refrigerating temperature; various parameters are 

set. 

Electrical components such as contactor, relay, power supply and push buttons are of quality domestic brands.  

3.11 pneumatic system, 1 set    

3.12 pipes and valves, 1 set   

3.13 working platform: 1 set

4. Technical Parameters 

Note: The vacuum impregnation equipment is non-standard, and we could provide the equipment according to buyer’s specific requirement. 

The loading basket could be square or round in shape. 

The machine is nude packed but duly fixed inside the container. 

The nearest sea port is Shanghai port which is the largest and most convenient port over China.

The delivery time is 45-120 days after receipt of down payment.

The machine can normally be loaded into normal container (20GP or 40GP).
