Acoustic Emission Sensor

Acoustic emission sensor models are complete, user can select it according to their requirements to meet all kinds of acoustic emission testing application. For acoustic emission location, you come across vast stable metal structure in practical application, e.g. pressure vessel, this kind material has small anisotropy and small acoustic attenuation coefficient, frequency range is almost 25KHz~750KHz, so resonant sensor is proper. Metal material and other application always use resonant narrow band sensor with 150KHz band-pass to test engineering material acoustic emission signal. Resonant narrow band sensor has high sensitivity and high signal noise ratio, low cost, more specification and model, e.g. it is better to select proper resonant narrow band sensor when you know acoustic source basic characteristic, and want to get acoustic emission signal with certain frequency range to process or want to improve sensitivity, e.g. acoustic emission source location. So called resonant narrow band sensor is not sensitive for certain frequency signal, but for certain frequency band, lower sensitivity for other frequency band signal.
