Acoustic Emission Preamplifier
The output voltage of an AE sensor is usually very small (in mill volt or less), a preamplifier is needed to enlarge the signal before it input to an AE system or other signal processing equipment. An amplifier that is directly connected to an AE sensor in one end and AE system in another end. DC power is needed and supplied by the AE system. A preamplifier has vital function in AE system of increasing Signal-to-Noise.
Acoustic emission preamplifier need to have impedance matching function and transformation function. To prevent the input signal is too large, it should also have the electric shock protection and anti blocking phenomenon resilience, and have large range of dynamic output.
