JN BA-3601 Water-based Varnish

JN BA-3601 Water-based Varnish is a styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion designed and produced specifically for water-based clear top coat. The clear top coat prepared with this product demonstrates faster drying rate, better luster, excellent waterproof and anti-adhesion properties. The product is highly compatible with the acrylic polymers prevailing in the market.

1. Good luster: with suitable formula, finishing varnish prepared with this product demonstrates similar luster and flow leveling property to that of oil-based finishing/coating varnish.

2. Fast drying rate: The product dries quickly even without ethanol.

3. Extensive compatibility with resins: When used together with other hard resins, it can improve the anti-adhesion and anti-friction properties of finishing varnishes.

4. Excellent water-proof property: Finishing varnish made from this product can effectively protect the base material from water penetration. The luster remains the same when the surface dries.

5. If added with a small portion of anti-wear agent and feel modifier, finishing varnish made from this product can have good anti-wear and smoothness properties.

6. Low foaming: The product is not foamy easily, so its performance is not easy to be affected by the change of manufacturing techniques or application methods.

7. Excellent film transparency: If with suitable formula, the product can form a transparent film of high luster on the base material/substrate.

v       Storage Conditions

       The product shall be stored in a tightly sealed container and be protected from freezing and high temperature. It is best to be used within 6 months. Over-heating and over-cooling will both have negative effects on the stability of the latex. The best storage temperature is between 10°C and 35°C.
