Foxboro FBM224 P0926GG

The Foxboro FBM224 P0926GG is a 4-channel Modbus communication module primarily used in industrial automation systems to provide an interface between Modbus slave devices and the control processors of Foxboro Evo? process automation systems or I/A Series systems.

Functional Features

Protocol and Interface Standards: Complies with the Modbus protocol and supports RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 communication interface standards, allowing selection of suitable interfaces to connect with different Modbus slave devices.
Data Integration: Capable of integrating Modbus slave device data into the Foxboro control database for unified management and monitoring.
Flexible Configuration: Equipped with Windows? or Solaris? version configurators, enabling easy setup of port communication parameters (such as interface standards, baud rate, parity, etc.) and transaction specifications for slave device files (such as scan rate, function codes, etc.). Up to 64 independent transactions can be specified for each Modbus device.
Communication Redundancy: The fieldbus communication module or control processor is connected to the FBM via a redundant 2 Mbps module fieldbus. The FBM224 can accept communication from either path (A or B) of the redundant 2 Mbps fieldbus, enhancing communication reliability.
