Inconel Wire Mesh

Inconel alloys are well-suited for use in extreme environments, including high-temperature and corrosive conditions. They are strong, ductile, and creep- and oxidation-resistant under conditions of elevated temperature, making them valuable in industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, and marine engineering. Some of their applications include use in nuclear reactors and gas turbines, for example.

Composition: Primarily nickel (around 50-70%) with chromium (15-23%), iron (less than 10%), and small amounts of aluminium, copper, and other elements.

● Good corrosion resistance: Especially suitable for highly corrosive environments such as strong acid, strong alkali, and seawater.

● Strong antioxidant properties: Suitable for long-term use in high-oxygen environments.

● Good chemical stability: Can resist corrosion from most chemicals.

● Aerospace: used for high temperature gas filtration and engine components.

● Petrochemical: used for filtration, reactor support and heat exchange in highly corrosive environments.

● Nuclear energy industry: used as filtering, cooling and shielding materials in nuclear reactors.

● Metallurgical industry: used for filtration in high temperature furnaces and metal extraction processes.

● High temperature gas/liquid filtration: used for filtration in industrial waste gas and chemical processes.

● Chemical reactors: used as support and filtration materials.

● Marine environment: suitable for equipment such as offshore oil and gas platforms and submarine pipelines.
