CC1125 is a fully integrated single-chip RF transceiver designed to achieve high performance in cost-effective wireless systems with extremely low power consumption and low voltage operation. All filters are integrated, so there is no need for expensive external surface acoustic wave (SAW) and intermediate frequency (IF) filters. This device is mainly used in ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) and SRD (Short Range Device) frequency bands at 164-192MHz, 274-320MHz, 410-480MHz, and 820-960MHz.

The CC1125 device provides extensive hardware support for packet processing, data buffering, burst transmission, idle channel evaluation, link quality indication, and radio wake-up. The main operating parameters of the CC1125 device can be controlled by the SPI interface. In a typical system, the CC1125 device will be used in conjunction with microcontrollers and very few external passive components.
