3. Pigment properties

Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment Technology: Benzidine Yellow G (C.I. Pigment Yellow 12) is a red light or green light yellow pigment, which turns green slightly when heated at 180°C for 20min. Compared with C.I. Pigment Yellow 1, it has stronger solvent resistance and migration resistance, higher tinting strength, better light fastness and transparency. Benzidine Yellow G meets the color standard for four-color printing. The light fastness and weather fastness are relatively low, which are grades 3 and 2 at 1/1 and 1/3 standard depths, which are 1-2 grades lower than other yellow pigments (P.Y.13, 83, 127, 176).

4. Main Features

a. High tinting strength, vividness and transparency (the specific surface area of Lutetia Yellow 2JRT is 44m2/g);

b. Moderate solvent resistance, showing a tendency to recrystallize;

c. Widely used in printing ink, can be used for packaging printing ink; can also be used for pigment printing and plastic coloring, flexible PVC has a certain migration property, and good heat resistance makes it used for polyurethane foam coloring.
