1. Pigment properties

Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment Technology: Hualan Pigment (C.I. Pigment Blue 27), also known as Iron Blue and Prussian Blue, is a reddish dark blue powder with bright color and strong tinting strength. The color is darker than phthalocyanine blue BGS. Alkali resistance is weak, even dilute alkali can make it decomposed and cannot be used with basic pigments. And when heated to 170-180 ℃, it begins to lose crystal water, and when heated to 200-220 ℃, it will burn and release hydrocyanic acid.

Hualan is used in coatings and printing inks without bleeding. In addition to being used alone as a blue pigment, Hualan can also be combined with lead chrome yellow to form lead chrome green.

Hualan has outstanding dispersibility and covering power, and can be well dispersed in paints and inks. Hualan has a light resistance of 6-7, temperature resistance of 200 degrees, and acid and alkali resistance of 4-5.
