According to the different installation positions, the brakes can be divided into wheel brakes and central brakes. The disc brake can be divided into caliper disc brake and full disc brake according to the different structural forms of its fixed components. The fixed elements and rotating elements of the friction pair of the full disc brake are disc shaped, which are called fixed disc and rotating disc respectively. All working surfaces of the brake disc can be in contact with the friction plate at the same time, and its structural principle is similar to that of a friction clutch.
