German technical background VOK]- P 9904 Processing aids/compatibilizers
Rigid polyurethane foam for hydrocarbon or HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) foaming and soft foam based on polyether polyol blend. In the application of hard foam, the additive can accelerate the emulsification of foaming agent and polyether polyol; Soft foam can improve the compatibility between polyether polyols.

Product features and advantages
when used with hard foam VOK]- P 9904 can accelerate the emulsification of foaming agent and polyether polyol in the foaming process. The minimum droplet has good stability and prevents phase separation of incompatible components. Therefore, raw materials are evenly distributed and more evenly distributed in physical properties. The finer lotion eventually leads to a fine pore structure. In the application of soft foam, the compatibility between polyether polyols is improved, especially the blend of polyether and polyester polyols.
Storage and transportation
When the temperature is lower than 5 C, the product may be separated or become turbid. Heat to 20 C and mix well.
Recommended use
VOK]- P 9904 is used as processing aid, for rigid polyurethane foam foamed with hydrocarbons or HFC (hydrofluorocarbons) and soft foam based on polyether polyol blends.
Recommended dosage
0.2-2% auxiliary dosage (purchased form) is based on prepolymer or polyether polyol blend.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and good dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
The additive is best combined with the main components to obtain a good droplet distribution of incompatible components.
