VOK?-Disper 2152 has a highly branched chemical structure and is designed for solvent-free epoxy as well as other reactive systems such as two-component polyurethane and acid catalytic systems. During the grinding of the pigment filler, the polyester side chains of the additive are compressed, and the adhesion of the amine group to the pigment or filler surface increases. The pigment affinity group is adsorbed on the surface of the pigment filler, while the polyester side chain is still coated with the amine group to prevent it from reacting with the epoxy resin. The additive reduces viscosity well and does not react with the resin, resulting in long-term storage stability. VOK?-Disper 2152 provides good wetting and deflocculation of pigments. The additive has a wide compatibility and has no negative impact on coating properties such as yellowing resistance, metal adhesion or corrosion resistance.

In order to effectively deflocculate and stabilize the pigment filler, the additive must contain highly effective pigment affinity groups. Most of these pigment affinity groups are amine groups that react with epoxy resins. The ideal solution is to efficiently encapsulate the amine pigment affinity groups. However, the existing technology could not implement this solution until 2011, the German technical background Volcker Chemical launched the innovative additive VOK?-Disper 2151 with high efficiency dispersion and storage stability.

Today, the German technical background Volcker Chemical has taken this technology to a new level with another new additive VOK?-Disper 2152 based on the same active ingredient and containing 99.99% of the active ingredient. VOK?-Disper 2152 thus has a similar mechanism of action to VOK?-Disper 2151. The additive contains no solvents or organic volatile components and complies with stringent German AgBB and French VOC standards.

VOK?-Disper 2152 is recommended for industrial, wood and furniture, corrosion protection and automotive coatings, as well as for room temperature curing systems and adhesives.
