DK-DC20
DK-DC20 Surge Protective Device, short for SPD, adopts special plastics material. It takes the advantages of withstanding high temperature, good seal, easy installation, anti dust, anti-corrosion, and good appearance. DK-DC20 Surge Protective Device is installed in the front end of the single phase power supply line. It can prevent the equipment from the permanent damage or transient damage caused by induced over-voltage, over current, and other induced surge voltage. This product is used to protect the equipment from the lightning strike in the DC power. It is applicable to protect all the equipment such as communication device, computer room, automatic control system, etc.
Installation and Cautions
a. DK-DC20 Surge Protective Device can be installed in any place of the single phase DC power line, and mostly be installed in the power distribution boxes, power switches and sockets. It shall be connected with the power line in parallel, and it is better to adopt Kevin Connection Method, so as to lower the residual voltage (be careful of distinguishing the power line and grounding line).
b. Strip away the surface rubber of input and output terminal, and expose the copper core. Insert the copper core into the
hole of the SPD, and make it firmed with a screwdrivers.

c. The cross-section of the power line and conductor connected with the module SPD indicating alarm shall be between 6mm2～35mm2 ,and the connecting wire shall be shorter than 0.5m.
d. The cross-section of the grounding line shall be larger than the power line, and the distance between grounding line to
assembled grounding unit shall be shorter than 1m.

Maintenance
There is an indicator on the modular SPD, when the SPD is damaged or faulted, the indicator turns red. Please change the new modular SPD when it is damaged(No operation when it is with electricity, before installation, please the SPD cutting off the electricity; the grounding line shall be as larger as possible and the grounding resistance shall be less than 10Ω).
