Horizontal type pneumatic caliper disc brake

DBH pneumatic caliper disc brake is a horizontal installation brake. It is friction type air applied brake. After supplying air pressure, two friction pads clamped braking disc plate, making it stopped. After exhausting air pressure, springs make two friction pads come back, brake released, then braking disc plate rotating again.

There are six models of it: DBH103, DBH104, DBH105, DBH203, DBH204, DBH205.The DBH103, DBH104,DBH105 three models air caliper disc brake is used for braking disc thickness 10mm plate. And DBH203, DBH204, DBH205 three models pneumatic caliper disc brakes are suitable for 20mm braking disc thickness plate. Although they used for different thickness plate, while they produce braking force is the same for same diameter braking plate. Detail you can see it:

From the above table, we will know that when the braking disc diameter is the same, DBH103 and DBH203 produce braking power is the same, DBH104 and DBH204 generating braking force is the same, DBH105 and DBH205 also the same. While DBH103, DBH104, DBH105 producing stopping power is different. For example, when disc diameter is 260mm, their clamp force are 360N.m, 480N.m, 750N.m is separately. As usually, DBH horizontal air applied disc brake braking force is twice of DBG vertical air caliper disc brake. And it is heavier than DBG clamper.
