HH-6 chemical oxygen analyzer is the best practical technology NEPA measured COD value instruments sealed catalytic digestion , in strongly acidic solution, adding a certain amount of potassium dichromate as oxidant in the presence of a catalyst in a private complex at 165 ℃temperature heating water sample digestion , potassium dichromate is reduced to trivalent chromium organic compounds in water , trivalent chromium ion content was measured at a specific wavelength to calculate the amount of oxygen consumed .
