Before assembling the pump
First check whether the parts have defects that may affect assembly. Clear away the burrs, clean the pump, and then the assembly can be conducted.

Screw tightly all joint bolts and pipe plugs on corresponding parts separately in advance.Place the O -ring on the bracket in advance.Install the seal ring in the pump casing and bracket in advance. And lock it with screw.Install the bracket on the motor and lock the screw. Wash the installation position of stationary ring of mechanical seal with butanone. Apply oil on the seal ring of stationary ring and install it. Clean the mechanical seal and install movable ring. Then install the key, impeller, washer, impeller nut in turn and lock them.Install the mounted parts into the pump casing and lock the bolt; check whether the rotation is flexible when turning the impeller at the entrance.Rectify whether the water outlet is level on the platform. If it’s rugged, loose the nut of motor and bracket to adjust it.Make static pressure test with pressure more than 1.5 times of working pressure, and keep the pressure for 5 minutes, to check whether there is leakage. When doing static pressure test, make several turns of the pump.

Points for attention of installation

When installing, the pumping position should approach the water level as far as possible;The minimum space from foot valve to the pool bottom should be ＞D×0.75 times, the depth of the suction pipe dipping into water should be ＞D×1.5 times; the distance from the suction pipe center to the pool wall should be ＞D×3 times.When two sets of pumping are installed side by side, pay attention to the interval, which is generally ＞D×3 times;The suction pipe should adopt less bend pipes as far as possible, to prevent part of the suction pipe higher than the pumping center;The foot valve should adopt full flow foot valve, or the open area of foot valve should be larger than the sectional area of suction pipe;When the caliber of the suction pipe needs to be enlarged, the balanced expander (concentric expander) can not be used, instead, the eccentric expander shall be used and the top shall be flat and assembled;

When using the closed flume, the horizontal fixed suction pipe can not be used, the convenience for the maintenance of the foot valve in the future shall be considered.
