This Refractometer is designed for testing the concentration of the battery fluids, antifreeze liquid and cleaning fluids (CF). With the indication of the percentage you may know at which temperature the fluid will be frozen for both Propylene Glycol (PG) and Ethylene Glycol(EG). It can also be used for checking the strength of electrolyte solution batteries (BA), and measure the concentration of ethylene glycol or propylene glycol in antifreeze liquids.

Among our 3 types of refractometer -- traditional, new design and with built-in LED --only new design refractometers don't need a mini-screw driver to calibrate them. Materials used are carefully selected to bring out the best quality. With aluminum body, it provides more accurate measurements and simply stands up better over time. Refractive Index is very temperature dependent, it's important to use a refractometer with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) to give you the most accurate measurement in any type of environment temperature.
