amorphous alloy core distribution transformer is manufactured by amorphous alloy with soft magnetic characteristic, which can further reduce the distribution loss and ease the air pollution. Compared with the conventional silicon steel, the new fashioned transformer can reduce 75% of the no-load loss and produce high energy-saving effects.
Amorphous alloy iron core featured as low loss (1/3-1/5 of silicon ), low coercive force, low exciting current, high resistivity, good temperature stability, etc. The transformer manufactured by amorphous alloy core has 70-80% reduction of no-load loss than silicon S9 product, and 20% reduction of no-load current than S9 series. 

Transformer core / Toroidal core:  (A series)

A round core wound by automatic machines with one continuous tape of CRGO silicon steel and annealed in a tunnel furnace under the protection of inert gases.

Material thickness: 0.30mm,  0.27mm,  0.23mm, 0.10mm,  0.08mm and 0.05mm

Transformer core / Toroidal core: (B series)

 B round core wound by short silicon steel strips in 1 to 3 meters long, wounded with joints. They were annealed in vacuum furnace or tunnel furnace under protection of inert gases. The core posses the same advantages of A series, but the price was around 50-70% less than A series.

B series core commonly used as a replacement of EI and other toroidal transformers with lower magnetic loss requirement.
