Description
CABR Thread Insert Anchors, used with parallel-threaded reinforcing bars, can facilitate concrete construction joints. They make it possible for engineers to design slab-column connections without restrictions on rebar length and bar diameter for bending and anchoring. They provide an ideal option for cogged bar and situations where rebars are bent again and again before final concrete pour.
The internally-threaded anchors are simply cast into the wall and connected with a parallel-thread rebar. It can also be customized for use in thin walled precast panels where there is limited space for reinforcing.
This is quicker, easier and safer. It replaces hooked rebars and stirrups, simplifying rebar scheduling and reducing rebar congestion in the wall. Moreover, EC2 lap lengths can be accommodated, and they are available in a wide range of bar diameters.
From a construction perspective, CABR Thread Inserts avoid over congestion of the reinforcing, reduced risk of injury through manually bending bar, and faster cycle times in high rise buildings.
