Fluid Bed Dryers:
Fluid bed technology is a core technology of our company QIANJIANG DRYING EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD.. We supply several different fluid beds for application within food and dairy products, chemicals and pharmaceuticals - all applied for drying, after drying or cooling of particles - powders, agglomerates or pellets - and for production of agglomerates and granulates.
Different types of fluid beds
Fluid bed dryers are applied for particles between 50 microns and 5 mm. There are different types of fluid beds:
- Back mix fluid beds: For powders that are not fluidizable due to high moisture content
- Plug flow fluid beds: For powders that are directly fluidizable. Here the design is important for achieving the controlled residence time that is the pre-requisite for obtaining the right particle properties. The plug flow fluid bed can be either stationary or vibrating like the VIBRO-FLUIDIZER
WE supplies both types of basic fluid beds designed to fit into the spray drying process or as a stand-alone unit for other processes.
Principles:
Fluid bed drying is done in fluid beds. These fluid beds are designed to dry powder particles where the residual moisture content is higher than what is wanted in the final powder. Hot drying air is distributed through specially designed perforated plates on which the powder particles/agglomerates are resting.
The velocity of the drying air makes the powder ‘fluidize’, i.e. the particles get airborne; however, to the extent that only the finest and smallest particles leave the fluid bed with the air, while the bigger particles/agglomerates are transported with the upward and forward directed flow of air into the subsequent section, due to the perforation technique of the plate.
Fluid bed drying is suited for powders, granules, agglomerates, and pellets with an average particle size between 50 microns and 5 mm.

- Residence time of the materials in the fluidized bed can be adjusted as you need. Lower water content products can be obtained.
- Great intensity heat transfer, high thermal efficiency, scatter and agitator device can easily break up and scatter the agglomeration materials.
- According to the temperature changes, the feeding quantity of the fluidized bed can be adjusted, make sure the continuous or batch production.
- Materials in the fluidized bed can be dried uniformly, avoiding overheating of local raw materials.
- A special air distribution plate, both promote the forward movement of materials, not loss of materials.
- Multi-level dust removel system has been used, improving the product yield and reducing the material loss.
System structure is completely closed, drying and cooling process can be accomplished in a equipment at the same ntinuous working, large handling capacity, suitable for large-scale production.

calcined soda, sodium fluoride, sodium perchlorate, sodium perborate, sodium silicate, persulfates, activated carbon, alum, basic zinc carbonate, potassium phosphate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, diammonium hydrogen phosphate, sodium thiosulfate, barium sulfate, potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, manganese sulfate, sodium sulfate, copper sulfate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, nickel chloride, potassium chlorate, calcium hypochlorite, sodium metasilicate, iron oxide, silicon dioxide, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, titanium dioxide, potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, sodium sulphate, potassium dichromate, sodium dichromate.
* Organic:
sodium benzoate, phenylacetic acid, potassium acetate, p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid, hydroquinone, terephthalic acid, p-nitroaniline, 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline, calcium pantothenate, pentaerythritol, sodium formate, coke powder, o-chloro-nitroaniline, choline chloride, chloroacetic acide, bisphenol-S.
* Pesticide:
glyphosate.
* Polymers:

single-cell protein feed, soybean meal, starch, complex amino acid, calcium formate, citric acid, sodium citrate, glucose, calcium gluconate, feed yeast and granulated sugar.
