   The composition of EAF

C1. Furnace Body

The furnace assembly consists of the furnace shell, furnace door and furnace door lifting mechanism. Live the furnace shell structure, the furnace shell and pour shaken frame separation. The furnace shell with steel plates welded together at the bottom of the conical structure.  

C2. Furnace cover,

The furnace cover is the tubular water-cooled cover, is made of Welded seamless steel pipe,and is cooled by cooling water. There is a small furnace cover is made of refractory in the middle of it.

The water cooling pipe is divided into two roads, and the pressure 0.3~0.5 Mpa .

The furnace shell and furnace cover waterway soft pipe is connected by quick connector.

C3. Electrode lifting unit

1. Electrode Lifting column; ,

C4. Tilting unit,

Tilting Unit including:

1. Tilting frame;
2. Guide-way;
3. Tilting Hydraulic tank;
4. The guide-way for furnace cover rotary;
5. The furnace cover rotary supporter.

The tilting frame and the frame horizontal guide-way are made of welded steel sheet. On the top of tilting frame is box platform, and there is some hole in this platform for installing the furnace body, and several curved guide-way below this platform, and some positioning pins are welded on guide-way to fix the furnace body. There are strip flat guide-way on tilting base, and several positioning hole in flat guide-way, in order to get the accurate position and reliable performance, when the curved frame is rolling on guide-way. There is positioning pins are welded tilting frame, in order to install the furnace body easily. The below support base of two plunger type hydraulic tanks is fixed on equipments’ foundation, and the above support base is fixed below tilting frame platform, Platform supporter unit is fixed below tilting frame platform, it is same with tilting locked unit, we have to insert the curved frame supporter and the tilting locked pins to the hole before we lift the furnace shell, in order to prevent the frame toppled.

C5. Furnace cover upgrading and rotating mechanism,

This unit including:

1. Furnace rotary hanger
2. Motor
3. Speed reducer,
4. Chain,
5. Chain wheel,
6. Lifting Rod Unit,
7. Furnace rotary unit.

C6. Cooling system

Water cooling system mainly supply the water for the top of furnace body’s water cooling zone, furnace cover, furnace door, Electric arm, electrode chuck, stainless steel holding ring, short network systems, etc., of all water points with no pressure backwater

C7. Hydraulic system

1. Motor for Hydraulic system;

2. Variable piston pumps,

3. Cooling systems,

4. Stainless steel tank and related hydraulic accessories, etc.;,

5. Control loop filters;

6. Voltage regulator circuit;

7. Electrode lifting loop;

4. Furnace tilting loop;

10. Energy Accumulator Group: When an accident occurs, and power outage you can lift the graphite electrode

11. Electrode lifting mechanism adopts electro-hydraulic proportional control, the rest of the hydraulic action of the slide valve control.

C8. Short net system

This unit including:

1. Disturbance compensator capacitor
2. Conductive Brass Pipe
3. Big Section Water Cooling Cable
4. Cable Connector
5. Supporting Frame
6. Fasteners, insulation parts; etc.

Big cross-section water cooling cable make the short network structure simply, reducing the impedance of the short net, and reduce maintenance workload. All Copper parts are electrolytic Copper

C9. Centralized lubrication system

Centralized lubrication systems mainly by
