With the development of science and technology, people are more and more interested in the measurement of weak light, such as measurement for biological luminous. We can not use the conventional instrument to measure, since the strength of this kind of light is very weak, which is basically a form of photon.    

Then the single photon counting method come out. Use the characteristic of natural discrete when photomultiplier output current signal under weak light irradiation,with the technology of pulse recognize and digital counting.

1. The effluence will be smaller along with the drift for photomultiplier tube and the change of system gain.

2. Eliminate effluence of noise for the photomultiplier tube high voltage DC leakage current and the multiplication stage heat emission basically, improving the measurement results greatly.

3. High linear dynamic range.

4. The output signal can be data processing with the computer interface.
