Polyethylene and Chemical Industry
Pt13-Rh thermocouple (r type thermocouple)is precious metal thermocouple.Wire diameter is 0.5mm,Tolerance is -0.015mm,the chemical constituent of BP is Pt-Rh alloys,contains Rh13%,Pt is 87%,BN is pure platinum.The r type thermocouple uses the highest temperature is 1300°C in a long-term,the highest temperature is 1300°C in a short-term .
In thermocouple series,r type thermocouple has high accuracy,best stability,wide measuring area,long service life,high temperature limit,etc.It applies to oxidation and inert atmosphere.
The shortcoming of r type thermocouple is thermoelectric potential rate is small,low sensitivity,in high temperature,the mechanical strength decline,it is sensitive to pollution.The precious metals is expensive,so investment is larger in one time.
