The special purpose transformers found their application in areas where the voltage requirement of the machines available differ significantly from the standard voltage. All Electrical equipment are designed for specified supply voltage and the performance of the equipment is affected   with voltage fluctuation. Both Low & High voltage are detrimental to the life/proper functioning  of the equipment and cause the machine to run erratically or sometimes burning of the machine , thereby loosing production and the end result is economic loss of the many ways voltage fluctuations can be controlled, Rolling contact type voltage regulating units are the best. These units are custom built as per individual customers requirement and can be installed either indoor or outdoor to cater medium or high voltage supply fluctuations up to 33KVA with power handling capacity of 7000KVA. Rolling contact V.V.S./A.V.S. do not introduces any wave form distortion and are ideal for using in Chemical plants, Melting Furnaces, Air conditioning plants, Motor, Computer, Testing Laboratories etc.                                                                                                                                                                               

This manual provides general information , installations and maintenance procedure for proper functioning of voltage Regulator/Regulating unit. Wherever necessary, extra sheet and drawings have been attached to deal with special features incorporated in your equipment.                                                                                                                                                                              

The equipment has been designed, manufactured and tested with proper care and  attention, it will give you efficient service. For general maintenance or replacement of spares, in case you require any clarification apart from the contents of this manual please communicate to us giving brief description of your order and quoting the Type No and Serial No of the equipment engraved on the plate attached to the main tank.                                                                                                                                                     

Voltage Regulator/Regulating unit manufactured by us will comply with IS:1180 and IS:2026 as far as applicable.
